These Terms of Use (“Terms”) form a legal agreement between you and Dr Shobhit Singh (“Developer”, “we”, “us”) governing your use of the mobile application DNB Pulmo Guru (the “App”) and its content. By installing or using the App, or by tapping “I agree”, you accept these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App and its content solely for your own examination preparation and personal study on devices you own or control.
All questions, model answers, text, diagrams and design in the App are protected by copyright and are owned by or licensed to the Developer. You must not:
Content is licensed to your individual account and is watermarked with your unique identifier; any unauthorised copy can be traced to your account. Breach of this section terminates your licence and may give rise to legal action.
The App is an educational and exam-revision tool only. Its content is not medical advice and is not a substitute for professional clinical judgement, current guidelines, or formal training. It must not be used to diagnose or treat any patient. Medical knowledge and guidelines change; you are responsible for verifying all information against current primary sources and official guidance before any clinical use. See the Medical Disclaimer below, which forms part of these Terms.
The App and its content are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranty of any kind. While model answers are prepared carefully from referenced guidelines, we do not warrant that the content is accurate, complete, current or error-free, or that the App will be uninterrupted or fault-free.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for any clinical, academic, financial or other decision made in reliance on the App. Your sole remedy if you are dissatisfied is to stop using the App.
Any paid features or subscriptions are sold and billed through Google Play. Prices, renewal and cancellation are as shown at purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled through the Google Play Store before the renewal date. Refunds are handled according to Google Play’s refund policies.
We may suspend or terminate your licence if you breach these Terms. You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it.
We may revise these Terms. The “Last updated” date will change, and continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India shall have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any non-waivable consumer rights you may have.
This Privacy Policy explains how the mobile application DNB Pulmo Guru (the “App”), published by Dr Shobhit Singh (the “Developer”), handles your information. By using the App you agree to this Policy.
The App is an offline study tool. It has no online account and no server. Everything you enter stays on your own device. We do not collect, transmit, sell or share your personal data, and the App contains no advertising and no third-party analytics or tracking SDKs.
The App stores the following locally on your device only, so that it can function:
This information never leaves your device. We have no access to it. If you uninstall the App, or use your device’s “clear data” option, this information is permanently deleted.
We do not collect your name, email, phone number, location, contacts, device identifiers, usage analytics or any other personal data on any server. The App does not transmit your data anywhere.
If paid features or subscriptions are offered, payment is processed entirely by Google Play Billing. We never see or store your payment-card details. Your purchase is governed by Google’s payment terms and the Google Play Store privacy policy.
The App is intended for postgraduate medical trainees and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Because your data is stored only on your device, its security depends on your device. We recommend using your device lock and the App’s optional PIN. The App also disables screenshots and screen recording on Android and watermarks content to protect against unauthorised copying.
We may update this Policy. The “Last updated” date above will change, and continued use of the App after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
DNB Pulmo Guru is an examination-preparation and revision tool for postgraduate medical trainees. All content — questions, model answers, tables and diagrams — is provided for study and educational purposes only.
The content is not medical advice and is not intended to guide the diagnosis, treatment or management of any patient. It is not a substitute for professional clinical judgement, supervised training, institutional protocols, or the advice of a qualified clinician. Nothing in the App creates a doctor–patient relationship.
Medical knowledge, drug regimens and clinical guidelines change frequently. Model answers are written to reflect referenced guidelines at the time of preparation, but currency and accuracy cannot be guaranteed. You are responsible for independently verifying all information against current primary sources and official guidance (such as the latest WHO, NTEP, GOLD, GINA, ATS/ERS, CHEST and NCCN documents) before any clinical application.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Developer accepts no liability for any loss, harm or adverse outcome arising from the use of, or reliance on, the App’s content, including any clinical, academic or examination decision. Use of the content is entirely at your own risk and discretion.
While the App is designed to aid preparation for the NBEMS DNB Respiratory Medicine examination, we do not guarantee any particular examination result. The App is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to NBEMS or any examining or regulatory body.
By using the App you acknowledge that you have read and understood this disclaimer and agree to use the content for educational purposes only.
